Ms. Wolf is so excited for her fourth year at Equitas Academy this year! She was born in Evanston, IL right outside of Chicago and moved to Los Angeles to attend college at Occidental. After graduating with a Bachelors of Arts, she worked at City Year Los Angeles with a fourth-grade classroom in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles. This year transformed her life as she was challenged immensely and was able to strengthen her belief that she was meant to become a teacher. After that year, Ms. Wolf went on to earn her Masters in Elementary Education as well as a multiple subject teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University. When she isn’t teaching or talking about education, Ms. Wolf loves to explore Los Angeles and try out as many coffee shops and cafes as she can. She believes that every scholar deserves a right to a good education and that all scholars should be held to a high standard that they can achieve. She promises to never stop learning and growing with her class. She enjoys time with friends and family whenever possible and loves trying new things. Ms. Wolf’s goal for this year is for all sixth grade scholars to have fun and learn to love books and writing!
