Mr. Kegley is excited to start his first year at Equitas Academy. He is from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University April 2022 with a B.A. in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in math and science. He also played men’s basketball all four years of college. After graduating, he moved to California and married his wife from West Covina. Mr. Kegley is passionate about helping his students reach their full potential and he is always teaching his students to be curious, ask questions, solve problems, and set big goals. He is motivated to ensure every student receives the education they deserve and he wants to support every student and their family in that process. Outside of school, Mr. K likes to workout, go on adventures or to new places with his wife, cook and try new recipes, or play basketball.
