Ms. Smith joined Equitas Academy #2 in September of 2022. She is a graduate of Delaware State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Additionally, she earned her MBA from University of  Phoenix in 2005; and in 2009, began a career in the non profit sector, as well as working for organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

During her tenure in Trenton/Ewing New Jersey from 1995 to 2009, Ms Smith taught all subjects in grades K-8.
 
Ms. Smith moved to California in 2014, and taught at a charter school in Inglewood. 

When she is not teaching, she is auditioning for on camera acting gigs and voice overs, or at her happy place; the beach!
