Ms. Yoon completed her undergraduate studies in 2012 and her graduate studies in 2015 at the University of California, San Diego. Between her undergraduate and graduate school years, she lived in South Korea for two years. During that time, she taught English language arts, social studies and grammar to students in grades K-11. While teaching in Korea, Ms. Yoon developed a desire to learn more about education and educational practices. This interest compelled her to return to California for her teaching credential and Master’s degree in education. Ms. Yoon is passionate about creating opportunities and choices for all students and believes that education should help students become responsible citizens who can contribute positively to their communities. Ms. Yoon is excited to be part of a teaching team that enables students to make positive educational, career and life decisions. In her spare time, Ms. Yoon enjoys watching documentaries, playing piano and violin, and cooking. She hopes to someday travel to Europe and own an electric violin.
